Ingredients
  

For Pad Thai:

  • 8 ounces pad thai noodles
  • Three garlic cloves
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil
  • Four scallions
  • 1 pound sirloin or beef steaks
  • One small piece of ginger
  • One red chili
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • One egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • Peanuts

For Pad Thai Sauce:

  • Two tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • Two tablespoons of fish sauce
  • One tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
  • One tablespoon of lime juice
  • Three tablespoons brown sugar
  • One tablespoon of oyster sauce

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, we make the sauce by whisking all the ingredients into a small bowl and setting aside.
  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Some require bowling, while others need to soak in hot water.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil on medium-high heat. Add the garlic, ginger, red chili, and scallions to the pan. Use a spatula to mix for over 1 minute or until fragrant.
  • Add sirloin or beef steak to the pan—season with salt and pepper. Cook eventually on each side until brown.
  • Once the sirloin is cooked, push all the ingredients to the side of the pan to make room in the middle. Crack the egg into the spacer and stir until blended, mixing everything.
  • Add the noodles to the pan, then pour in the Pad Thai Sauce. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 to 7 minutes until the noodles have absorbed the sauce.
  • Add the green beans for another 2 to 3 minutes after the noodles have absorbed the sauce.
  • Serve the Beef Thai Pad on plates. Sprinkle peanut and chopped green scallions on top. Serve while it's still hot.
