Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 2 nori sheets
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cucumber cut into strips
  • 4 oz of imitation or crab shredded
  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 tablespoon Japanese mayo
  • Sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon sushi vinegar

Instructions
 

  • First of all, mix the Japanese mayo with the shredded crabs in the bowl with the help of a spoon.
  • Mix the sushi vinegar into a bowl of water.
  • Now spread the sushi rice evenly over the rough side of the nori sheet. Flip the nori sheet so the rice is facing down.
  • Add filling to the roll. First, we place the 3 slices of avocado, then the 1 strip of cucumber, and finally, the shredded crab mixture over it.
  • Using the sushi mat as a guide, roll the sushi roll. Gently press on the sushi mat to tighten the roll.
  • Drape the salmon over the top of the roll. Use a sushi mat to press the salmon onto the roll.
  • Wet a clean, sharp cutter or knife and cut the roll into 8 even pieces.

Notes

Avoid the rice sticking to your cutter, clean and wet the cutter after each cut.
