- 1 can Cream of Celery Soup
- 2 blocks Velveeta Cheese cut into pieces
- 1 can Evaporated Milk
- 2 cans Green Chilies chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
Gather all your ingredients. Make sure the Velveeta cheese is cut into small pieces, and the onion is finely chopped.
In a large pot over medium heat, add a little oil. Once it’s hot, add the chopped onion and sauté it for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent.
Pour in the can of cream of celery soup and stir well with the onions.
Gradually add the pieces of Velveeta cheese to the pot, stirring constantly until the cheese is fully melted and combined with the soup.
Pour in the can of evaporated milk and continue stirring. This will make the queso creamy.
Add the chopped green chilies to the mixture and stir everything together until well combined.
Keep cooking the queso on low heat for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and the queso is smooth.
Once the queso is hot and creamy, remove it from the heat. Serve it warm with tortilla chips, veggies, or your favorite dippers!
