  • Measuring Cups & Spoons
  • Saucepan
  • Wooden Spoon Or Spatula
  • Baking dish (optional, for baking)

Ingredients

  • 1 can Cream of Celery Soup
  • 2 blocks Velveeta Cheese cut into pieces
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 2 cans Green Chilies chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients. Make sure the Velveeta cheese is cut into small pieces, and the onion is finely chopped.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, add a little oil. Once it’s hot, add the chopped onion and sauté it for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent.
  • Pour in the can of cream of celery soup and stir well with the onions.
  • Gradually add the pieces of Velveeta cheese to the pot, stirring constantly until the cheese is fully melted and combined with the soup.
  • Pour in the can of evaporated milk and continue stirring. This will make the queso creamy.
  • Add the chopped green chilies to the mixture and stir everything together until well combined.
  • Keep cooking the queso on low heat for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and the queso is smooth.
  • Once the queso is hot and creamy, remove it from the heat. Serve it warm with tortilla chips, veggies, or your favorite dippers!
