- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup Brown sugar
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mix. Stir until everything is well combined.
In another bowl, mix 3 cups of flour, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until you have a dough. Don’t overmix!
Stir in 2 cups of chocolate chips.
Scoop out small balls of dough (about 1½ tablespoons each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave some space between each cookie.
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden. The centers should still be soft.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
