Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 10 x 14 inches in size.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the rolled dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce according to your taste. Layer the pepperoni, ham and salami slices over the sprinkled cheese.
Starting from one of the long edges, tightly roll out the dough into a log enclosing the filling. (Remember to press together the edges and ends to seal.)
Transfer the assembled and uncooked stromboli to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it sit for 20 minutes. (If you are agile and have no time, then rest for only 5 minutes.)
After 20 minutes, remove the plastic wrap and brush the beaten egg over the top and sides of the Stromboli Pizza. This will give it a golden brown appearance.
After beating the egg layer, sprinkle the parsley and grated parmesan cheese if you want. Cut the dough with a knife to cook the meat slices.
If desired, you can also sprinkle sesame seeds.
Transfer the baking sheet with the pizza roll to a preheated oven and bake it for 25-30 minutes, or until the Stromboli Pizza Roll is golden brown on the outside.
Remove the baking sheet carefully from the oven. Before slicing, leave it for a few minutes to cool.
Garnish it with more cheese and serve with sauce.
